2. What are ISRC Codes and where do I obtain them?
The ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) is
the international identification system for sound recordings and music video
recordings. Each ISRC is a unique and permanent identifier for a specific
recording which can be permanently encoded into a product as its digital
fingerprint. Encoded ISRC provide the means to automatically identify recordings

3. How do I send my tracks to you to be mastered?
If you have an FTP server send us the login details and we can download your files from there. Alternatively we can set up an account on our server
and send you the details. You can also send the tracks to us via www.sendspace.com If using this method use studio@exchangemastering.co.uk as the recipient.
Other formats we accept are ½" and ¼" tape, audio CD, DVD, hard drives, cassette and mini-disc. If you would like us to work from any of these formats then
they will need to couriered to us at the address below.
4. My audio is ready to send for mastering, what should I do and what other information do you
need?
We now and again have have short notice cancellations which means we can sometimes fit you in straight away, depending on the amount of work.
We always advise sending the audio asap in case we have time available.
5. What is the maximum amount of audio I can fit on a cd?
A CD album should be no more than 79 minutes and 58 seconds.
6. What's the most you can fit on a side of vinyl?
It always depends on musical content, for instance, a bass heavy track will take up more space
on a
disc than a recording of a string quartet, but here are some general guidelines: See table.
